Easily my favorite aspect of SacAnime 2014: the Fashion Show! Man, it was just staggering to see all of the detail the designers put into every one of the outfits. I mean, the pleats and ribbons and lace work-- oh my! For the images of the signs (with what time I had to snag shots of), it showcased which designer's outfits were being paraded in the show. Personally, I found a deep-seated appreciation and warming sensation when the "Japanese Bridal Set" came out to the catwalk, though that could be my cultural background shining through.
From bubbly and cute to mysterious and alluring, candy-coated nostalgia to reserved and elegant attire, dark and gothic to modern and sharp-- I was blown away by the outfits I had the chance to see here. To all of the models that performed in the show to the designers who made the outfits, everything was top notch and I'm definitely looking forward to the next show.
