Over the course of the game, you'll find that Ezio will grow older in voice and in appearance as well.
Nate here, and I finally got to play Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 2. Here's what i thought of it.
Compared to the first AC, Ubisoft DEFINITELY improved a lot on the game. There's not much of a repetitive feel to it (still a little bit,) compared to the old one. The cutscenes were really well done. And the choices where you get to decided to press button to perform an action during a cutscene was a nice little bonus too.
The story continues off where you were left back in the first game with the main character, Desmond. trapped in Abstergo. Seeing that odd picture on the wall. You are taken away with Lucy out of Abstergo and basically "kidnapped." Abstergo had a pretty solid security, so finding out you are actually taking on Altair's "Eagle Vision" ability, which allowed you to see that weird thing on the wall, both of you manage to get out of there. You are then taken to another place where you meet two people, Rebecca and Shaun (Shaun has a pretty eccentric, wise-ass Brit accent.) You find out you're continuing your Animus work here, only with these guys, with the Animus "Two-Point-Oh" Following an ancestor from Italy named Ezio Auditore de Firenze this time. The game continues from there...
Leonardo Da Vinci's Flying Machine
Everything has far improved from it's previous game. Some faces look just like the actual people from AC: Lineage (Giovanni Auditore.) You'll recognize some VAs if you have a good ear like me. (Maybe not, lol.) The new arsenal of weapons are awesome, like the wrist blade gun, to the awesome wrist blade poison. Some moments you just wished there were more of, like I wished a thief named Rosa had more moments in game. And unlike the original AC, certain sidequests won't run out, meaning you can keep playing it. Finally, unlike the first game's ending cliffhanger, this one was really good. It even had stuff after it to suffice. Only gripes I have about the game were finding certain needed landmarks. It would've been nice to mark them on the map or hint the area in the database or something. Also needed more Rosa, lol. A BIG improvement from the last game, I like it. I give it a 4.8 out of 5.
