Shoji Kawamori to attend Anime Expo 2016

Anime Expo has announced, that Shoji Kawamori will be attending Anime Expo this year as one of Anime Expo's Guest of Honor. Shoji is one of the very few who has worked on every aspect of a production in animation including: scripts, storyboards, mechanical designs, and directing. Shoji has worked on multiple mediums including anime, TV, and theater including:

• Macross Frontier the Movie: The False Songstress/The Wings of Farewell (original creator / executive director)
• Aquarion EVOL (original concept / director)
• AKB0048 (original concept / director)
• Nobunaga the Fool (original concept / executive director)

Recently Shoji has also worked on the Thunderbird series with the design of Thunderbird Shadow. Dates to what day he will be appearing at Anime Expo has not be detailed at this time. Anime Expo will take place in downtown LA at the LA convention center on July 1st-4th.
