![]() The May 2014 issue of Shueisha's Jump X (Kai), which is published in Japan today on April 10, announced a live-action adaptation film of Tetsuya Tsutsui's crime suspense manga Yokokuhan is in the works. In France, the manga is published as Prophecy by Ki-oon. It was serialized in the magazine from 2011 to 2013 and has been compiled to three tankobon volumes. A spin-off manga series titledYokokuhan-The Copycat illustrated by Fumio Obata with the story by Tsutsui also starts in the May 2014 issue. The cast and release schedule of the film will be announced in the upcoming issues of the magazine. The manga tells the battle between the anti-cybercrime section of the Metropolitan Police Department and an Internet terrorist group called "Shimbunshi" (newspaper). The members wearing newspaper masks on their heads announce various crimes beforehand on a video sharing site named YOURTUBE, then put them into practice under the name of punishments. Most of the victims are the people who had a slip of the tongue on SNS. What's the true purpose of the group?
