Fanime's Art Gallery closed down for 2016

As Fanime is days away, Fanime has made an announcement this past week regarding their Art Gallery. Fanime has posted the following:

 We regret to officially inform you that Art Gallery will undergo a transition year and will not take place at FanimeCon 2016. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to those that have participated in the gallery in the past and those that have expressed interest this year.

While this may not hurt Fanime in the long run, it does add up to the already number of changes Fanime is going through this year. From the change of location for registration, the new registration system set up for hotels, the new standard of getting approved a table at the Artist Alley, and the new chair of fanime taking control, this convention leaves many to question what exactly is Fanime going to be this year.
