Convention Center Housing Bureau overbooks Anime LA hotels

While Anime LA is still a good 5 months away, Anime LA opened up hotel housing for upcoming convention last week. Since the opening for hotel reservations, there was an error with the Convention Center Housing Bureau. Hotel rooms are being overbooked, and hotel reservations are being made to hotel rooms that don't exist. A spokesperson from the Anime LA staff has made a comment on the situation, and informs everyone that the Anime LA staff is looking to address this issue.

Hotel Reservation Issues –

While we are still in the process of investigating this issue and what solutions there might be, here is what we know so far.

It appears that the Convention Center Housing Bureau (which we are required to use) incorrectly entered the number of available rooms at a number of hotels in the block causing more rooms to be reserved than were actually available.

We are currently talking with them in order to try and find some sort of workable solution for those affected. As soon as we have more information we will be passing that along to everyone.

We apologize for the error on the part of the Convention Center Housing Bureau and appreciate your patience and understanding while we try and resolve this as best as possible.
