 Baltimore, MD (June 27, 2016) – Voice actress Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld, known for her roles on "Pokémon" and "Yu-Gi-Oh!," among others, will be a guest at Otakon 2016, according to Otakorp Inc.
Rosenfeld portrays Bonnie and Nurse Joy on "Pokémon"; Rio Kastle on "Yu-Gi-Oh!"; Zexal, Princess Leonora and Baba Cara on "Super 4"; Kahori Harukawa in the "Psychic School Wars" anime feature; and Ally and Riley on "Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V!" She has provided voices for numerous cartoons, video games, toys and commercials. Paschall is best known for her roles as Serena, Jessie’s Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist, Miette’s Slurpuff, Sawyer’s Slurpuff, Swirlix, Concordia, Ellie and Florence in "Pokémon." Today, Anime Expo has announced a Fooly Cooly 2 panel, presented by IG Production, on Sunday, July 3 at 5:15 PM in the Petree Hall. This past year IG Production, and Cartoon Network's Toonami, announced a 2nd season to Fooly Cooly. IG Production will bring the creator of the series, Kazuya Tsurumaki, and Haruko's Voice Actress, Mayumi Shintani, to this year's Anime Expo. He is the protégé of Hideaki Anno, and a longtime animator at Gainax. Tsurumaki's first project at Gainax was as an animation director for the 1990 TV series Fushigi no Umi no Nadia; Tsurumaki was also director of the humorous "omake" (extra) sequences that went along with the TV series, and producer of "Nadia Cinema Edition". In 1995, Tsurumaki served as an assistant director under Hideaki Anno in Gainax's landmark series Neon Genesis Evangelion, in which role he handled production, art director and setting assistant for some episodes. In 1997, he directed episode 25', the first half of the cinematic conclusion to the Evangelion series, The End of Evangelion. He assumed directorial duties for the 1998 TV series His and Her Circumstances after Anno abruptly left the project. In 2000, Tsurumaki officially made his debut as a full-fledged director with the six-part OVA series, FLCL. In 2004 he directed the hit sequel to Gunbuster called Aim for the Top 2! or Diebuster. He is currently working as a director on the new four feature Evangelion film series, Rebuild of Evangelion.

Mayumi Shintani is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with Nylon100. Some of her major roles include Tsubasa Shibahime in His and Her Circumstances, Haruko Haruhara in FLCL, Lolo in Brigadoon: Marin & Melan, Cindy Klein in Earth Maiden Arjuna, Nonon Jakuzure in Kill la Kill and Wendy in Black Butler: Book of Circus. In 2004, she portrayed Scarlet Claw in the live-action Cutie Honey film.
Anthony Beanes -Director  Anime Expo has announced, that Shoji Kawamori will be attending Anime Expo this year as one of Anime Expo's Guest of Honor. Shoji is one of the very few who has worked on every aspect of a production in animation including: scripts, storyboards, mechanical designs, and directing. Anthony Beanes -Director  Otakon has announced today, that LeSean Thomas will be a special guest for this year's Otakon convention.  LeSean Thomas, known for his work on "The Boondocks" and "The Legend of Kora" and the lead creative force behind the "Cannon Busters" pilot by Satelight, will be a guest at Otakon 2016, according to Otakorp Inc. Thomas is a television animation producer, director and illustrator operating out of Los Angeles, California. He is known for his work on “The Boondocks” “The Legend Of Korra” (Book 1) and “Black Dynamite: The Animated Series." He is the creator, producer, director and writer of ”Cannon Busters,” the animated pilot, with Japanese animation studio Satelight ("Macross Delta," "Basquash! Fairy Tail") based on his creator-owned comic book of the same name. Otakon 2016 will be held August 12-14 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD.
