Hi, all!

It's time to give you the details on the photo shoot we are hosting with our partners at Cosplay World.  Here is what you will need to know:

  • The cover charge is $25 per person.  This charge is just to help us cover costs for the rental of the back room of the pub.  If you are bringing friends, please inform them that they will be asked to pay, as well since the back room is limited capacity.
  • For your $25, you will get 3 poses of your choice and 1 group shoot (if you are part of a group).  After that, the photographers or director may have additional poses they may ask for or may ask you to take part in a group shot.
  • Please arrive wearing the base of your costume as there isn't a designated place to change at the bar.  They do have restrooms, but we do not want to be too obstructive to the bar's patrons.  It is a normal business day for them, after all.

  • Props are welcome, but anything resembling a gun should be in a bag until you arrive to avoid any problems.
  • We will be bringing juices and glasses to replicate drinks and tea lights and the bar has agreed to supply us with ice.
  • We will not be serving alcohol at the shoot, but if you are of legal age and decide to order a drink from the bar, we just ask you don't get drunk since it's hard to pose well if you can't stand up.
  • If you want a copy of your pictures, you can ask the host (me, Jeremy) for a playing card.  It will be used to make who you are and what costume you are wearing.  For an extra $3, you will receive a CD with your raw photos, but you will need to sign a release ensuring that if you turn any of the raw pictures into prints, the photographer taking the pictures will get a fair share of any money from the prints.
  • You're probably asking, "Why are you doing this?"  In all honestly, I wanted to get pictures that you can't get standing at the back of a group of photographers, and it sounded like an original idea!  I spent a few minutes staring at the walls and immediately thought of Cowboy Bebop, the Avengers, Sword Art Online, Baccano, Read or Die, or Trigun characters relaxing here!

I think that's about it!  Ask any questions you need to at mspfreight@yahoo.com!
