First idea for MSP Logo
The origins of Mission Start Podcast started in 2009. This website was created by Anthony Beanes, in order to host podcasts under the name Mission Start Podcast. As years went by, friends of Anthony's wanted to use this platform to conduct reviews for video games. Anime reviews were also added soon after. In the short span of time, it quickly turned from a website to hosting podcasts, to creating content directed towards people who enjoy video games, and anime.

First MSP Convention Coverage Video

In 2010, we began our video production for Mission Start Podcast. Our video coverage consists of anime convention coverage including panels, interviews, and events. This then lead to having more convention coverage on the site. Shortly after video production of convention coverage other types of coverage added to the site. Coverage including: cosplay photography, photoshoots, podcasts, video, social media, and reviews of conventions. This soon became our main content for Mission Start Podcast.com. Since then, Mission Start Podcast youtube channel consists of over 900 videos, and nearly 500 subscribers to our video content to this day.

Over the years since 2010, more people have joined Mission Start Podcast, to add content to the website, as well as help in the coverage of covering conventions. To this day, we have covered over 40 conventions for the last 4 years each year. We strongly believe that our message to everyone is that this website exists to bring the fun convention experience to every person at home who can not make the trip to said convention. We have expanded our convention coverage to not only just anime conventions, we also added comic book conventions, gatherings, and video game conventions. Mission Start Podcast staff started out with 3 people, and now the total count is 19 people spanning across the nation contributing content to MSP.
Today we continue to distribute content to this website, including weekly podcast shows, live shows on our twitch channel, reviews on video games and anime, and much more. We are happy that we have this platform has given us to speak our voices as well as create content to our hearts desire. None of this could not have happen without the support of our fans, as well as our supporters of the site.
